- Nov. Chapter Meeting  (Thanksgiving Dinner) - 📍Orlando Executive Airport, 365 Rickenbacker Dr, Orlando, FL 32803  Nov. 21th ( 6:00 - 8:00 PM )​

  • Join us for our annual Thanksgiving potluck dinner! Members are welcome to bring family and friends as we celebrate together with food, games, and prizes! 🦃🎉

- FlySNF Flightoberfest - 📍 Location: SUN ‘n FUN Expo Campus, 4075 James C Ray Dr., Lakeland, FL 33811 -  Due to the impact of Hurricane Milton, the organizers have made the difficult decision to postpone the Flightoberfest event.

**New Date: Saturday, November 16, 2024

All tickets already purchased for Flightoberfest will be honored on the new date. We appreciate your understanding and hope you and your family stay safe during this storm.

  • Our Plan:

    • Suggested Meeting Place: Piedmont Boeing 727 Classroom (across from the event, near Beuhler hangar). Check the Chapter WhatsApp for updates.​​

    • Capture group photos, explore static displays, and enjoy live music

    • After 3 PM: Free time to explore the event as you please

  •  12:30 PM: Meet for lunch and beer

  • Event Highlights:

    • ✈️ Aircraft Displays

    • 🍔 Food Trucks & Local Vendors

    • 🍺 Seasonal Craft Beer (3 PM - 9 PM)

    • 🎶 Live Music

    • 🎈 Kid Zone with activities from Lakeland Moonwalk​

Aviation for Girls resources

The Women in Aviation Central Florida Chapter proudly supports the annual Girls in Aviation Day events WAI hosts. We are committed to empowering young learners and inspiring the next generation of female aviators. As part of our dedication, we provide year-round resources through the Aviation for Girls app and Aviation for Girls magazines, created exclusively by WAI. These free resources, available in print and digital formats, aim to encourage and support young women in pursuing their dreams in aviation.
