Saturday, October 9: Compass Rose Painting
Orlando Executive Airport
Map
Volunteers needed!  Join in a long-standing tradition of the Ninety-Nines, the international organization of women pilots, and help paint a compass rose on the tarmac at Orlando Executive.  A compass rose, which is large enough to be seen from the air, accurately and beautifully depicts the correct directions and is used by pilots to calibrate the compasses in their aircraft.  The Central Florida Chapter of WAI is excited to work with area Ninety-Nines chapters on this fun and worthwhile project.  Watch this space for further details on start time and where to meet us at the airport.
